The Mary Project is a design led project, currently in research and development, exploring historical and contemporary stories of the stigma surrounding sexual health, sexual health and the process of looking back. We use Mary's story as a backdrop for contemporary stories to unfold. As rates of STIs rise to levels not seen since 1949, following cuts to NHS services, The Mary Project looks to question how far we have really come.
