Conceptual Installation Design for Space
Responding to the the rise of stress and tension we live with in modern society, I designed three temporary relaxation spaces. Each responds from either research into stress and relaxation, psychological relaxation techniques or a personal response to relaxation from a written questionnaire. I'd hope these spaces provide different environments for people to relax, as essentially everyones methods of relaxation are different. Ranging from active to passive, private and public, and indoor and outdoor. I'd hope these environments would provide solutions to all of these. They also take reference from Edward Hall's proxemic theory, and the responses of people in different proximity to one another in varying amount of space.
